Tach recomendation

I own an open style fishing boat with a '01 30 hp Honda with tiller control and electric start. Could someone please recomend a good tach...surface mount would be nice and easy installation also would be a plus...<br />Thanks in advance P.M.

The easiest and probably the cheapest will be a digital from http://www.tinytach.com/tinytach.html <br /><br />THe signal is picked up inductively by a wire you simply wrap around a sparkplug wire.<br /><br />They have several models available. If you call them, they will set you up with the right one. Under $40.
