I have a1978 Crestliner with Det Mar gauges. The tach does not work, when you turn the key, the needle moves all the way to the 6,000 rpm point and stays there.
The back of the gauge has 4 wires, a red one with a blue (what looks like a fuse holder), black, purple ( which goes to another gauge) and a whiteish wire.
It looks the whiteish wire and the red wire go to the engine.
Any ideas on what I should do?
