Tach has always worked fine. Motor hasn't been run in several months. I wanted to try another prop and when I got in the river the motor ran fine but tach needle would stick as it crossed about 1k. Bump the face and it would start heading to were it was supposed to go but never got past 2k. Any hope? This is a G3 white face with a black bezel and I hate to break up the set. Any way to excite tach and get the needle to sweep up and down to clear hang. Magnet near face will move needle but only up to hang point.
I just realized after posting I am in the wrong place. Don't see a way to delete and start over so I will wait and see.
