Just received one of those cheap digital tachometer /hour meter. I have to extend the cord it came with about four more feet. Directions state "no spliceing" but I know there has to be a smart enough person on this site that can tell me how it can be done. Wire is two 26 gauge wires in one 1/4 inch rubber solid hose. Any help. ( and please I know it is a cheap Japanese product, but I have seen and heard they work pretty good)

Is that tach the one that comes with factory build in signal pickup cable along ground wire, or the one that can secure one extreme of cable on a cut located at border? is it for a center console dashboard ? Hardline Induction Hour/Tachs is the way to go, the rest are...
