i have a 87 sea ray and the tach gauge is pegged backwards while not running at idle it goes up to like 50 and then when u get going in goes back the other way past the 60 and runs pointing straight down. i recently replace the coil, i thought the wires could be backwards but they are not i even have a factory wire diagram proving it.
