Hi Guys,

I have installed my used Honda 130 and pluged in all the wires. I have yet to start the motor due to lack of gas and water. Should the trim guage work with the motor not running or even the key off? Even when the ignition is on, the guage is still inactive.

Thanks Mike

The trim guage should work with the ignition on, if the motor is set all the way down the guage will not move, but it should go up as you trim up.

Your tach should zero when the key is turned on and the trim guage should be activated and move when you get to the TRIM sender at the engine. That is located on the inside of the clamp bracket and has a kinda long spring loaded finger and three wires going to it .Is that finger moving freely with the engine tilted up?Is it still there?

Thanks guys.

I figured out the problem. It turns out I blew the fuse in the Wireing harness when I was setting up the lights for the guages. All is well.

- Mike
