synthetic oil in my 1986 70 H.P. Yamaha

I use pennzoil 100 percent synthetic oil for 2 stroke outboards Is this a good thing? I did a topic search on the forum and found a discussion about 4 stroke engines using synthetics...Thanks Wes Whitzel

FWIW, I use the Yamaha oil in my 90hp Yammie and I am amazed at how little it smokes.<br /><br />I won't change for that purpose.<br /><br />John
