My trailer is equipped with ST175/80D13 tires which I need to replace. I cannot find any locally and the shipping cost is almost as much as another tire if I buy them online. Wally World carries a 5.3/12 with the same bolt pattern. Would these work? Boat is a 14 ft. Glasstream with 48 HP Johnson. Total weight is under 1000lbs. Thanx for your imput.

Re: Switching Tire Size

If you have a farm store check there as they generally stock trailer tires. Why you would change rims as well when all you need is tires. If you can't find tires locally, try the next larger town. If your town is big enough for WalMart, they must have a tire store in town. Wally World can certainly get them for you as well.

Re: Switching Tire Size

I have had bad luck with cheapy tires from walmart, pepboys etc. Champion tires is where I got my last pair and I had great luck, I had them ordered and delivered to my local gas station, see if your has an account with champion.... just a thought!
