Switching lower units with different HPs

Quick and simple question... I have a 110Hp V6 Evinrude motor that went out on me and I can't find another used lower unit with the same HP and whatnot, the question is can I put a 145HP lower unit on it and ifso, what problems could occur????

Please help... a local business boat shop f***ed me and I have enough decency not to expose them.

There is no 110 hp V6 motor. Post a model # ??

No such thing as a 110 V6, and to my knowledge, they never made a 145, so some corrected info is needed before we can tell if anything will fit...
