Switching Fuel Tank Brands?

Hi: This subject seems so obvious to me that I'm embarassed to ask but we're heading to the cabin today and I'd like to know for certain. We own a newer OMC plastic fuel tank that I'd like to try out on our '82 Merc 90. I assume that a vented tank with the right fittings tapped into the line will work just the same, regardless of brand? The OMC tanks looks like a better fit in my '82 Glastron SSV-151.<br />Thanks<br />Gary Tuthill

No problem Gary. Just use OMC quick connect on the tank and your mercury connect on the motor. Your motor dosen't know how you are connecting your tank.
