Switch box testing

Greetings. I have a 1988 Mercury in line six cylinder, 115hp. Can someone direct me to a site that shows how to test the switch box for this motor? This particular motor has 2 switch boxes. Thanks

All the IL6 motors with ADI ignition have 2 switchboxes. Try the CDI electronics web site. They used to have a switchbox test.

In addition to the 2 switchboxes, your motor has 3 triggers, and two stator charge coils, one for low speed and the other for high speed operation.

There is only testing for output so make sure you have a DVA adapter and if problem found only use OEM,Serria, Rapair/CDI or WSM replacements. The cheap stuff of Amazon is junk
