Swimming with the Humpback whales.

Last Tuesday we went out on Stellwagen bank to see if we could get some tuna and failing that,at least some cod or haddock.
After trolling for about an hour and 2 hookups with nice footballs,we saw the whales.We brought in our green squid rig(umbrella dredge) and moved in close.
We were in our 19 footer that day and the whales are majestic from that point of view.Anyway,my son and I decided that we only live once.We dived in the cold water and swam up to a whale and actually touched his head.He was quite benign. It was a once in a lifetime experience.
A fishing report will be on salt water fishing later.
