Swapping out OMC

Okay what can I swap my 1977 OMC with? I would like soemthing other than what I have. Can I do it without rebuilding the transom? BTW the it is a 190 OMC

Nope,.... No matter which way ya go, the transom needs to be closed in, 'n re-cut...
