Swapping out carpet for HydroTurf. What color should I use?

Swapping out the carpet in my boat to HydroTurf. Had good luck with it on my old boat, so adding it to this one.

Only problem I have is choosing a color.

Boat is Blue with gold and silver highlights, wood-grain and gray interior.

In the shop now for custom blue bimini top, and I am afraid that adding more blue with the HydroTurf would just be too...BLUE!

Please post pics and personal experiences/preferences on what color would go good with my boat.

I think I would have gone with blue carpet and a contrasting top... white or tan. Although the leopard skin sounds good too.

OH, didn't think about that. Easy to fix.

Wife wanted blue bimini, so I was outvoted there. She is willing to let me get feedback from others on the Turf color.

Gray. I have blue carpet (granted it's navy blue) & it gets HOT

Well now that I see the interior pictures, I'd change my vote to grey, which I can't do. So -1 on blue and +1 on grey.

Gray, but if you can actually find leopard print that would be hard to pass up!

Stick with a color that's similar to dirt I had navy carpet in my last boat and it was a nightmare. I could thoroughly clean it and the first time someone stepped into the boat from the ground....trashed. Think light gray, beiges, colors like that. (obviously HydroTurf won't be as bad as carpet in this regard)

(obviously HydroTurf won't be as bad as carpet in this regard)

Can't agree with this enough!!! The navy looks really nice when it's cleaned initially, but man, every speck of dirt/dust/leaves/etc. show up! And did I mention it gets really HOT?

Gray--and not the dark gray, that'll get too hot.

IMO molded diamond is a nice texture.

The two tone might be nice if you can match the colors you want.

Yes, gold trim, and some silver.

I agree on the beige or gray, in light color, for dirt's sake.

We had purple on our last boat, it was nice stuff, but did get a little warm.

I went with the blue for my swim platform and haven't had a problem with it getting to warm. Of course I'm a little bit north of you.

In your case, I think the blue would be to much blue. I'd go with the grey for replacing the carpet..
