Hi,
Neighbor has an older Suzuki 2 stroke with oil injection. Sat for the last 7 years and I told her not to start it yet they tried. They couldn't get it started and I finally diagnosed that the fuel line was hooked up backwards.
Gave them the speech again and they continued on only failing. Got it partially running and explained more about how a two strokes work.... needing fuel to properly lubricate.
Long story short convinced them to just use my 2000 Johnny 15 HP.
I find that these motors are somewhat rare and while I'm going to go through it... I prefer not to by a manual.
Is the injection system solid? Looks like it has a warning light but the tea kettle icon looks like a overheat situation which it's not overheating.
Playing around with the choke or pumping the throttle keeps it running but not very well. Gas was spurting out the top of the carb but I think one cylinder was sneezing.
Any info would be greatly appreciated before I take this on.
