Suzuki Outboards-Any Good?

I have an opportunity to buy a 1985 Chaparral 204 walk-around cuddy cabin with 2 1987 Suzuki 200 HP anniversary motors for $5500. One motor is on the boat the other is extra. Just wondering if anyone has had one of these motors and if they are any good?<br />Thanks<br />Martin on the Jersey Shore

You don't see many Suzukis's around here, but I think that's more of a lack of dealerships than anything else. I only know one guy with a Suzuki. He says it's a very good motor but complains of very long parts deliveries and astronomical prices [even for marine parts].

wanted to buy a solenoid for my 1987 dt40, at dealer 150$ plus tx(canada hey!!) just find it on ebay 17$ plus 8$ shipping...very expensive parts, cheap to buy but.......corrosive
