Good day
I have a problem removing the driveshaft of a 1981 Suzuki DT85 I have removed the nut holding the pinion gear on the shaft I understand the shaft is tapered and presume this is my problem. The pinion gear will not budge even after weeks of realeas oil etc ..., does anyone have any tricks
Thanks

there is a tool for this but for you.......
put a length of pipe (6" or so) over the driveshaft to use as a slide hammer. Wrap the driveshaft near its splines with sheet metal and grab hard with vice grips. slide away ....striking the vice grips!!
