Have a 1980 suuki DT85 and having running issues. All the ohms checks under the flywheel are in specs. What should the DVA to the coils be? I am getting 56v at all three coils cranking with the plugs out at about 275RPM and about 51V with plugs in. That 56 volts seems low but It throws a 1/2" spark, with an adjustable gap tester, the spark is very thin but blue. The problem is it runs irratic at low and moderate RPM, and won't rev into the top of the power band. For that matter what should all DVA readings be? A can't find a chart anywhere.
The carbs have just been cleaned by someone else, I suspect there might be the problem, because the fuel pump works great,
Regardless, I want to make sure all the ignition is working correctly.
