I have no idea what year the motor is--my father bought it mounted to a 1988 starcraft 16.5 foot boat in 1988, it's been sitting in garage for 2 years, had stabil in the gas. Dumped gas and ran 10 gallon tank of high octane gas with a can of sefoam through it. Seems to be running sluggish. Had several people tell me that this particular motor has carb problems after sitting for awhile. Any suggestions?
