I recently purchased a 1996 Suzuki DT75 engine which runs very well. Compression test showed 100-130 psi on all cylinders. When flushing the engine I noticed a the water milky and slightly oily. Is this of concern and why?

Re: Suzuki DT75

I'm assuming you're looking at the water coming out of the exhaust. This should be as you describe because the exhaust mixes with the water. 2 strokes tend to run rich at idle which would cause some unburned oily gas to mix with the water. If you're concerned about water getting into the cylinders, pull the spark plugs out and check to see if any of them look completely clean (almost new). Clean plugs mean there is water there.
