Suzuki DT75...more top speed?

Jason bass boat 16', DT75. On smooth water it runs about 38mph, GPS and settles in at about 5500rpm. I noticed the prop is a 19 x 15 pitch. Would it hurt to put a higher pitch prop on there for more top end? Right now it has GREAT hole shot, but peters out later on.

As long as you stay within the recommended max rpm at wot there's nothing to worry about.<br /><br />One inch up in pitch equals 200 rpm down, as a rule.
