Suzuki DT65 ,wonder if anyone could tell me what this hole is and what is meant to be there ..any advice would be appreciated

cant believe no answers. that was for the temp sender that went to the overheat alarm. you can use current part # or any sender that fits really just as long as it closes around 90c.
