suzuki dt55-dt75

I have a 3cyl dt55 and a 3cyl dt75 these motors look just just alike whats makes them different is it the bore, or the jetting in the carbs. can the dt55 be a dt75 by chance

No ... the 55 & 65 are similar and the 75 & 85 are similar .... big difference between the 55 & 75 ...

Some people might say "if you want to make your 55 a 65, unbolt the 55 and go buy a 65 ..."

From what I hear, making a 55 into a 65 involves little more than changing the carbs. I could be wrong ... it's been known to happen before.
