When I went to use my Suzuki outboard this spring it started like usual. 1 pull. The only thing
wrong is it wont idle. It wont run under 3/4 throttle and it wont start without choking it. Even when
it is hot. I checked the carb for dirt and varnish build up but seems ok. It sort of behaves like there is
an airleak but don't see anything obvious. When I put the motor away in the fall it was performing
normally. Anybody got any Ideas???

Well I tried the suggestions that I got in the replys to my Post but nothing has changed as for as the operation of the motor is concerned. I did take the fuel pump apart to see if anything was amiss but nothing obviously wrong there. Anybody got any more ideas? I am sure it somthing simple but don't know what it could be.

Paul,

More than likely a clogged jet in the low speed circuit. Does it have an adjustable slow speed jet? If so, take it out remembering how many turns it was from being seated. Blow some compressed air into the jet hole.
