Suzuki DT3.5 Help

I acquired a DT3.5 outboard motor and know nothing about how to get it running. The serial number I am guessing says 0351 F-12372, what year does this make the motor? Also, I have a parts manual for it already, but does someone have a service/operators manual so I know what type of fuels it takes and overall operation of the motor? Any information would really be helpful. Thank you.

Check if Suzuki has a web page of their own, probably the information such as Owner's Manual, Spare Parts are posted there in PDF formats. The Service Manual usually sells apart....

Maybe find a friend who is familiar with outboard motors who can walk you through operation and maintenance of your motor....check any local boat dealers/marinas for an operation manual of at least a motor similar to yours....boating folks are notoriously helpful people and you'll get some help and make some new friends....Good Luck!
