Hi,

My Suzuki dt25c, drives automatically into forward gear when starting up the engine. The clutch lever stays in upright position spite that forward gear is in. The motor then dies. So my plan is to change the lean idle mixture...but the gear problem needs to be solved first. Anyone got an idea? I have looked but not sure where to start. Thought I asked here before buying the proper tools.

In the attached picture I have placed a 1 and a 2, which of these(if any) is the lean idle mixture screw control? Clockwise for richer mixture?

Best regards
Daniel

You need to adjust the lever (linkage) first so it will stay in neutral, then once you get that right look closer at it dying when you put it in gear, just adjusting the linkage could solve the problem.
