My first post here, so here goes.<br />Have a Suzuki DT150 EFI on an Angler 204 fiberglass hull. On recent trip, using GPS, clocked the engine running 1hr 57min and traveling 34.73 miles. I had 3 men (approx 550 lbs), 20 gal live bait well full, 40 lbs ice and a full tank of fuel (80 gal). Ran engine 3500 to 4500 rpms. I used the trim tabs to adjust the maximum speed at current rpm to get the greatest fuel efficientcy. But to my dismay when I returned inland and refueled I had burned 23.5 gal of fuel. This is almost 12 GPH which seems a bit much I think. Engine starts fine and seems to run okay except for the excessive fuel burning. Any suggestion here would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
