I pulled the top off and discovered no thermostat fitted in my 1984 DT140. Have heard that they suffered from overheating and fix was to remove it??? Has anyone got an opinion or suggestion.<br /><br />Motor has never let me down but I'm in the process of moving it to my best mate - I'd like us to remain mates. <br /><br />Thanks
