Suzuki DT115 surging...

I have an 87' DT 115 that has a couple of issues. A few seconds after accelerating to part throttle the engine will start to speed up. It runs okay at full throttle except every once in a while it will miss once or twice. Also, when giving it just a little throttle past idle it will die. So far I have disassembled and cleaned the carbs twice and rebuilt the fuel pump twice. I also have new fuel lines and filters. Could a bad crank seal be causing low fuel pump pressure? Every once in a while I will notice a little oil running down the shaft coming from the engine. Any advise would be greatly appreciated! Thanks.

Re: Suzuki DT115 surging...

When you rebuilt the fuel pump did you use a Suzuki kit. One of the wrenches that workred on my Jonny was having trouble with rebuild kits from an auto supplier because the threads in the gaskets were pulling air. Just a thought!
