Hi!

Have a Suzuki DT100 and a monitor wich came with the boat. I think the monitor was to a 65hp Suzuki. With the motor i got a tachometer also with warning lights. I got the tachometer part working with the yelow, black, grey kabels but it has at 4pin cabel to the engine for the rest. I got a 6pin cable in the engine and the moniter gaughe also has it (only five is used). Tried to conect the monitor to my engine, the oillevel indication works but i get a constant high RPM alarm for no reason?
My Q is, can i get the monitor to work without alarm or can i use the tachometer warningslights instead? I would prefer to use the monitor since i get the oil level in that gauge.
I am a bit confused since after a lot of googleing it seams as the tachometer is for at 4-stroke but i have two (one sparepartmachine) twostroke DT 100 and i got this tachometer-gaughe with both of them, and they seeam to work ? It is market with suzuki s7 0446-001

SRY for bad english, hope U understand....

More info.

I have this tachometer: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Suzuki-Outb...meter-Monitor-Gauge-34200-93J00-/321090115970 and the tacho part seams to work but i have not figured out how to connect the alarm stuff. It says it is to 4 stroke but seams to work? It has a 4 pin connection for the alarmstuff but i have a 6 pin in my engine?

The monitor gauge is this one: http://www.ebay.ca/itm/Suzuki-DT115...34700-92E11-/371072023436?hash=item56659dbb8c

It has a 6 pin connection and that is what i have in my engine but if i connect it it alarms all the time on RPM. Would be nice to get this two instruments working as much as possible.
