Back on the saga of my Suzuki DT 85...

Latest problem; the three bolt holes that hold the stator on the upper oil seal housing have broken off AGAIN.

When I bought it there were two bolt mounts for the stator and one was broken off so I bought another upper oil seal housing.

Take the boat out for the first time last week and a loose flywheel magnet broke 2 stator bolt mounts.

I replaced the flywheel and upper oil seal housing and ran it at home. Take it to the water and start to back up; another stator bolt mount is broken off.

A 3rd upper oil seal housing is on the way.

Could there be an adjustment to measure how high the flywheel should ride above the stator or a clearance?
I sanded all the mating surfaces with 320 grit and the flywheel fits snug and does not wobble.

Any ideas?
