I have a 1985 Suzuki DT 75 that runs rough and won't idle. Two years ago I had the ignition coil on the third cylinder replaced. I suspected a coil maybe going again. So I checked the resistance on all three coils and discovered the new coil on the third cylinder had a resistance of 3900 ohms which is out of range. The other two were within range at 2500 ohms. Turns out the part number on the coil is different CM6135 vs. CM6125 for the other two coils. I think that the Suzuki dealer put the wrong coil on my engine. Does it make sense that the wrong coil would cause idling problems?
