hi guys
new for this forum and fairly new to the boating scene, i have a phantom 16 speedboat with a suzuki dt 65 outboard, think its around the 1980s model, its the one with the blue leg and white cover.
My gear box went on it the other week and am in need of a new one, i have been told i can just change the lower unit of it with a second hand one of ebay? I have found a dt 50 lower unit on ebay and was just wondering would this one fit mine? or does it have to be a 65 hp gearbox?
