Just put a new lower unit on the 225. Water is flowing out of the area above the water pump and the front drain hole where the lower and upper units meet. Took the lower back off, replaced rubber where water pump output connects to riser, checked water pump, all ok. I'm wondering if the standpipe can slide up and not be fully into the water pump connect point? Any other ideas?
