When I drop it into drive I can operate on low speed. As soon as I give it "the go", it bogs down. I did ohms check the throttle sensor and it checked out. Any other area I should check? Thanks...

I to have this same problem! I was running at 4200RPM's when it bogged down then when I tried to rev back up it died! Now it only goes at a low idle and when i try to increase it dies! Aggravating to say the least!

I did a drop down test and had a dead cylinder! I pulled the plug and the cylinder was washed out with gas and soaking wet. Before I dug into the carbs and reed cages I pulled the cover off to the coils and was going to change that plug wire out with a new one I had. When I pulled on the wires I found that the connections were corroded and not connected together! I proceeded to change the coil and did the drop down test again and it was fixed. took it out on the lake last night and it runs the best it has since I bought it 3 months ago.

Any one know what kind of RPM's I should be getting? I know this is a loaded question. but 5k is all i can get. I think 6 would be more reasonable. I know prop plays a factor in that equation too!

Sheck the spark pluggs, do you have water on any? if any is milky? My did the same thing. Run bad on low rpm. It was one of the gaskets to the exaustplate that leaked and i got i little bit of water in the cylinder. At high rpm it worked fine... BTW a comp test does not show if this gasket is bad...
