How many hours should the recommended NKG spark plugs last on this motor?

Should be good for many seasons.----At least 500 hrs.----Sparkplugs are well made these days.----Many last thousands of hrs in 4 stroke automotive work.

For 4 strokes motors :
If the spark plugs are fouled, has carbon build ups or are worn should be replaced. When removed and cleaned at intervals to reuse them, remove the dirt, carbon from the electrodes, adjust spark gap and torque to specifications. NGK spark plugs are cheap...

If you need spare sparkplugs / tools on your boat there is something wrong with the MOTOR.---Nothing to do with sparkplugs being bad..

What posted are general guidelines excerpted from 4 stroke motors Owner's Manuals. Has nothing to do if in need to carry a set along tools on your boat or if the motor runs weak, strong or not. Spark plugs are not eternal their electrodes wears over time that's why needs to be replaced from time to time. For 4 stroke motors 200 metered run hours will be more than enough.

Susy DF9.9B runs wit NGK DCPR6E spark plugs which costs $ 3.50 each other DF9.9B depending on year/model runs with NGK MR6K-9 which costs $ 14.50 each, peanuts cost for what that motor costs...
