I have a 1999 DF70 that sat for about a year. I have been working on the engine for 3 weeks now and finally got her running. The last issue I have is when I put her on the water and run her the motors has no power and REV limits at around 3500 RPM.
I have tested the fuel pressure (38 PSI), compression on all 4 cylinders (110 PSI) and verified that the neutral switch is operating correctly, but I still can not get any power. I have also connected a separate fuel tank to eliminate the boat tank.
I now think that it must be computer related and possibly in a fail safe mode?
Any ideas?
