Suzuki DF60 tries to start by itself.

First time starting this season. Turned ignition key 3 or 4 times no problem. On last try the motor continued to crank and would not stop. Disconnected battery to stop. As soon as I touch cable to battery, motor cranks again. Ignition does not appear stuck. Any suggestions?

Key switch? Stuck starter solenoid?

I had that happen on an older motor.Granted, I was not exactly using the proper solenoid,but the problem turned out to be a loose ground on the solenoid.Worth a shot anyway
