I have a 3 year 3 month old 200 that I just found out blew a head gasket, which cracked the block, and let water into the cylinders. I bought the boat on the sales mans description of a non-declining (full replacement w/no deprecation) warranty promo that locked the deal in. His description was that I had a 100% guarantee and 6 year piece of mind. In particular he explained to me the difference between what Yamaha was offering and what Suzuki offered? I signed an extended warranty registration and the sale contract referencing the 3+3 promo. Bottom line the repair cost is $14k and the warranty company only wants to pay me the current value of the engine. The limitation of liability is stated in the contract, but not the one I read or more importantly signed. No one can produce a signed copy of the contract (full terms) with my signature and the full terms. All my maintenacne has been performed by the dealer. Any advice? Who should I be going after to make this right?

Sounds like you need to get out your copy of what you signed and see what it says.

What? you do not have anything like that!

You can say he said or they said all you want, but without something in writing you are sunk.

Sounds like you overheated the motor and toasted it.
Head gaskets do not just blow for no reason last time I looked.

I have reviewed all my signed copies... nothing with the full disclosure of terms as was presented until after the claim was submitted... the register warranty is legit, and registered, but there is no signature. They never presented this form to me for signature.
