Suzuki DF115 engine light

My DF115 is running great, however when I first run at the begging of my trip, the check engine light comes on and the alarm buzzes.

The motor is running greater than ever, but I cant figure out why this is happening.. any sugestions would greatly be appreciated. Thanks in advance for your responses.

What year? Is the alarm just when you crank it up? Does it flash any kind of code on tach?

It's a 2004. When I first start it up the engine light comes on and the alarm goes off. If I run it awhile and stop and restart a couple of times it stops and won't do it again for the
rest of the day, even if I fish a long time without starting it, when I start it again it wont do it again until my next trip.

Interesting..it should sound alarm every time you start it, to let you know that horn is working. It could be sticky oil pressure sensor. These engines
also have a gradient overheat failure mode(which means too hot too soon),try letting it warm up for five minutes or so..see if it helps..Good Luck
