Hi Bundy.<br /><br />The manual does not offer a way to establish belt tension.<br /><br />In the belt installation procedure, it says to "lightly push tensioner toward belt, then tighten two bolts."<br /><br />This is a no-stretch belt, so I guess that there isn't a way to measure tension or adjust it.<br /><br />Good luck. :)

Thanks JB! After seeing my dealer use a pry bar to adjust it it just didn't seem right to load that much tension on the belt and bearings.

Hmmm. Very interesting, Bundy.<br /><br />The only problem I have heard of with this engine is a that couple of them BROKE THE NOSE OFF THE CAM!<br /><br />I wonder if your dealer worked on them. :confused:

Yes JB, mine was one of the ones that broke at the oil pump. I'm on a new powerhead .
