Suzuki boat motor beeping noise

I have a Suzuki boat motor and I was driving it the other day I had it in gear then threw it in reverse fast and after that it got messed up. When you turn the key on I get a long beep that doesn't turn off until I turn the key off..What do you think the problem is?

Doesn't "turn over" means the engine does ot rotate when the starter engages.
"Does not start" means the engine rotates when the starter engages but does not actually run.
So which situation do you have?
How fast were you going "forward" when you threw it into "reverse"?
Did the engine die immediately when you threw it into reverse?

See if some one can fix the bat motor in the title by editing it.

It would be nice if you could tell us what Suzuki motor you have.

Could it be your kill switch got pulled off
