I now have 70 hrs on my 140 Suzuki 4-Stroke (Triumph 190 Bay CC, 22in SS prop, 43 MPH 6200RPM - cruise 3500RPM 6 MPG) and so far absolutely no probs. Anyone experiencing any problems with this engine? Talked with a commercial crab fisherman with 10,000 hrs on a 4-yr old carburated 90hp 4-Stroke Honda - virtually no problems, except hard start-ups on colder days. Have read about Suz 70hp problems but have heard nothing about the 140 durability. Do know it outdoes the Honda 130 in just about every category, just hope it can match the Honda's reliabity. Do believe Suzuki parts availability and warranty issues are improved. Input from 90-115-140 Suzuki owners and dealers welcome.

Love my Suzi DF70 EFI 4 stroke. Best engine I ever had and I have had a lot of great OMCs. :)

10,000 hours? No problems? In just 4-years?

That's almost 7 hours running...every day...for 365 consecutive days of the year....for 4 consecutive years. Hmmm.
