suzuki 140 blown rod

Ok so my friend is picking up a boat and we are going to fix it up motor is a mid 80's 140 hp Suzuki motor with a blown rod?? Im wondering how hard it is to fix. I have done plenty of motor rebuilds on cars trucks arcs and sleds but never done an outboard can this be done in the garage with mechanic tools?

all the motors i took apart are smiple mostley smaller hp thow . the thing i would worry about is if the crank is pressed together . a 140 shouldnt be but some thing to cheek . as for tare down and rebuild its easy get a book and it will walk you throw what you need . good luck
