Suzuki 115 bogging/feul restriction

When running at 4/5ths power everything is fine - at full throttle it boggs down and a whistle sounds (probably lack of gas). I had all of the carbs cleaned w/ new gaskets & seals. Nothing changed. My mechanic found a piece of feul hose jammed down in the feul pickup tube in the gas tank, decreasing the inner diameter so we figured it was a feul restriction. Ran without the hose but problem only got worse - it bearly idled and would bog down before planing. The primer bulb never got hard. Hooked up an aux. gas tank with separate gas line stright to engine. This bulb got hard for a short time but it still ran awful and would not idle. By process of elimination I now know it is not the gas lines, tank or the carbs but still can't figure out why someone would shove a piece of gas line into the pickup to restrict flow? Engine ran great when I bought it

Hi, Andre.

What happens if you spray some fuel into the carbs? Have you tried choking it?

What have you done about the fuel pump and the lines from it to the carbs?

Let us know. Good luck. :)

When a Suzuki will run fine at 4/5 throttle but at full throttle it bogs and a buzzer goes off it is about 99% odds that your oil filter (white square thing with 2 wires between oil tank and pump) is clogged. At partial throttle it is still getting enough oil, wide open it is not = buzzer goes off and shuts motor down to approx. 2500rpm. Replace the filter (they're cheap) and bleed the air from oil line. Good news is your engine warning system is working the way it is supposed to. I don't know about your fuel line but it's probably not your problem. Go fishing

When you check filter/sensor that Fridaysmarine speaks of, check the oil in tank for jelling.
