Suzuki '04, 2 stroke 140

Well, my 140 has cracks on either side of the prop...have learned it is caused by corrosion on the inside..tried several times to weld, drill, etc. but to no avail. Now is time to chg my impeller and wonder if I should get an entire lower unit or go with just the housing and transfer the gears, etc....trying to determine if getting a reman lower unit is smarter than changing housing, etc. And, if a lower unit is better, than should I look at a used or a reman. Many thanks for input...(any leads would also be appreciated...located in South Texas)
