Suziki Positive Battery Cable

I have one more question to ask of you guys. Can you tell me where the positive battery cable should be connected on the motor? The wiring diagrams show it going to the left terminal on the starter solenoid. That makes perect sense to me because the other terminal has a fairly large gauge wire which connects the solenoid to the starter motor,however the two terminal posts are only 1/4". I have never seen a battery cable with such a small terminal connector. Can this be right?

Forgot to mention again. The motor is a 2000 DT 100 Hp.

1/4" is big enough when the terminals and the cable ends are clean, Bob. It is the flat area around the stud that make the important contact. Your connection location is also correct.
