Surge to electric conversion

Is there any device that I can replace my hydrolic surge actuator with an electric one? I really don't want to change out the whole break system. Just looking for an electric actuator that can replace the hydrolic surge actuator.

Electric trailer brakes do not use an actuator on the trailer. The brakes are controlled by the amount of current sent from the tow vehicle brake controller. To change out to electric, either replace your trailer coupler with a straight coupler, or weld the coupler up so it will not move.

WD hitch. I have one that will work with surge breaks but if it diminishes the breaking force I would want to convert.

I use an electric over hydraulic on mine.

^^^ this would be exactly what you asked for but be ready... it's PRICEY

the only other option would be replacing the entire brake system
