Surge brake wiring

I'm wiring my truck for a trailer with surge brakes. Does it matter which of the wires leading to the back up lights of the truck I use when connecting a lead to the solenoid so that the brakes will be disabled when backing up?<br />Thanks

As long as it's the Power wire....<br />Attaching the Ground to it Won't do Anything.....
