Hey there from the north. I have a 40 horse Johnson that jerks coughs and then stalls at idle also there seems to be alot of gas oil mix in the lake when I shut it off. Could you help me? Thank you very much anyway I realy like this forum. Swampfox.
Hey, Swampfox, you need to attach your second message to this one, not on a separate topic. What have you done about setting the idle and synch?? It sounds like your idle is too slow and that the carbs aren't working together.<br /><br />Do you have your manual yet?<br /><br />Standing by.<br />JB
